NCS Candy Bar Chocolate Mold

Chocolate Mold, made in the USA from PETG food grade plastic by Life of the Party, features each bar measuring 5-1/4" x 2-1/4" x 1/4" deep. Estimate 2.3 ounces of chocolate per bar, equating to approximately 7 bars per pound.

Upon arrival, your mold will be packaged in a heat-sealed 100% virgin, high clarity polyethylene food approved bag. It is important to wash the mold before each use. Keep in mind that molds are not dishwasher safe. Clean them in warm mildly soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. To remove excess chocolate from the mold, do so while it is still melted. Place the mold in the freezer until the chocolate hardens, then slightly twist the mold to cleanly separate the chocolate.

Remember that water and chocolate do not mix well. Chocolate is an oil-based vegetable, so moisture like water or steam can impact its texture and appearance. This may result in a dull, unappetizing finish and may prevent it from pouring and molding properly. The mold is suitable for chocolate, soap, and plaster crafting, but avoid using it with hard candy or other hot ingredients. Keep in mind that temperatures exceeding 140 degrees are not recommended.

On average, a lollipop uses about 1 ounce of chocolate, while a bite-sized mold requires approximately 1/2 ounce of chocolate. With 16 ounces equaling 1 pound, you can expect to make around 16 lollipops or 32 bite-sized candies from a pound of chocolate.
